Become a Volunteer
Your help is worth its weight in gold
Trekanten Fencing is a club with a high level of activity and a long, strong tradition of volunteering — something we warmly invite everyone to be part of.
We host competitions and training camps, travel to fencing events at home and abroad, celebrate traditions like Halloween and Christmas activities, and create relaxed lounge evenings and social gatherings.
All of this is only possible because we have a culture where people step in and help when needed. Around a quarter of our members (children, parents, youth, and adults) contribute throughout the year. That’s fantastic and incredibly valuable — but there is always room for more.
Pulse — Trekanten’s Volunteer Community
To make it easier to bring volunteers together, we’ve created Pulse — Trekanten’s Volunteer Community.
Pulse is where everyone who helps bring Trekanten to life connects — before, during, and after trainings, events, and competitions. Here you can discover opportunities, sign up for tasks, and be part of the team working behind the scenes.
We use ReHelper (Kulturens Frivillige) as the platform for coordinating volunteer activities. It gives you a clear overview and makes it easy to help occasionally or on a regular basis.
You may also receive invitations to volunteer opportunities via email through the platform.
Tasks — big and small
Volunteer tasks in the club vary widely, but they all share one thing: they are manageable and clearly defined. You can help once or regularly — both matter.
Examples of typical tasks include:
• Preparing and serving food and drinks at events
• Supporting check-in and logistics at competitions and camps
• Helping organize shared transport and accommodation
• Setting up and taking down equipment
• Practical club tasks (laundry, small fixes, etc.)
• Supporting social events and club activities
• Contributing to committees, working groups — or even the board
• Creative and professional contributions: posters, photos, social media, writing, IT, DIY, and more
You don’t need deep fencing knowledge — we match tasks with your interests and experience, and experienced volunteers are always happy to guide newcomers.
Volunteering at Trekanten
Helping out can be contagious in the best way. You meet new people, gain insight into club life, and become part of a friendly and supportive environment.
Whatever your skills or availability, there is a place for you. Together, we make Trekanten one of the best fencing communities to be part of.
Welcome to Pulse.
No. Many tasks can be handled by both members and friends of the club.
That’s entirely up to you. Some people help for a few hours at events, while others contribute more regularly.
Once you join Pulse on ReHelper, we can share opportunities there — and you can sign up whenever it suits you.
You’ll still need to join Pulse on ReHelper so everything is gathered in one place going forward.
Yes — helping occasionally or ad hoc is absolutely fine.
